Dr. Harris is board certified in Family Practice. He received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at U.C. Davis where he was an All American in track. Dr. Harris received his medical degree from U.C. San Francisco and served his three-year internship / residency at Mercy Medical Center in Denver, CO with some time spent as Chief Resident.

Since coming to Rocklin in 1988, Dr. Harris has served on many committees at Sutter Roseville Medical Center including Chairman of the Family Practice Department. Dr. Harris resides in Rocklin with his wife and four sons. He is active in the community by supporting youth sports and has served many years as a team physician for Rocklin High School. He is also active in his church where he spends many hours of service.
 
     

Dr. Julie Wei-Shatzel is board certified in Family Practice. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology and Cell Biochemistry at the University of California at San Diego. Dr. Wei-Shatzel received her degree in Osteopathic Medicine from the University of Des Moines in Iowa. She served a one-year internship in Michigan and a three year Family Practice residency that she completed at the Mercy/Methodist program in Sacramento.  

Dr. Wei-Shatzel's area of interest is women's health.  Dr. Wei-Shatzel enjoys taking care of families and last year had an addition to her own family.


 
     

Dr. Ooi is board certified in Internal Medicine and Sports Medicine and board eligible in Pediatrics. He has also received extensive training in medical acupuncture and osteopathic manipulation. Dr. Ooi was born in Houston, TX and received his undergraduate degree in both Biology and honors Liberal Arts at the University of Texas at Austin with high honors. He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and completed a four year residency in combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN. After residency, Dr. Ooi then completed fellowship training in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH. During this period, he also completed advanced training in Medical Acupuncture through the University of California at Los Angeles. He has served as a team physician for Ohio Wesleyan University (NCAA division III), Delaware Hayes High School, and Indianapolis Washington High School and is currently the team physician for Whitney High School Athletics in Rocklin, CA.

Dr. Ooi specializes in both primary care and non-operative orthopedic care and prides himself in offering the broadest and most effective therapeutic interventions short of surgery. He enjoys treating patients of all ages and levels of activity. In his spare time, he enjoys running, practicing martial arts, and spending time with his family.
 
     

Dr. Abalos is board eligible in Family Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of the Philippines Diliman and medical degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine.

She completed her residency training at the West Suburban Family Medicine Residency Program in Oak Park , Illinois . Her areas of interests are : Women's Health, Geriatrics, Preventive Medicine & Pediatrics.

 
     

Sue Wissler graduated the Physician Assistant program at the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 1984. She is certified with specialties in primary care and surgery. While working at a multi-specialty practice in Southern Calif. she received additional education and training in diagnostic cardiology, radiology and endoscopy. Since moving with her family to Rocklin in 1990, Sue has had the pleasure of working with Dr. Harris, expanding her knowledge of Family Practice. In addition to seeing patients, performing minor surgeries and physical examinations, Sue runs the cardiac stress testing laboratory and 24-hour heart monitoring as well as coordinating and interpreting bone mineral density testing (DEXA) scans and performing flexible sigmoidoscopy. She remains current with Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification and received over 100 hours of continuing medical education per year. Sue lives in Rocklin with her husband and two daughters.
 
     

Bruce Roe graduated from the Physician Assistant program at the USC School of Medicine in 1989. He moved to the Bay Area where he practiced in primary care until he "saw the light' and moved his family to Loomis in 2000. He worked at Med Clinic in family/internal medicine for four years before joining Dr. Harris. Bruce feels blessed to be able to make a career out of helping others. In his free time his wife and three sons keep him out of trouble with an unending array of sports, camping and activation in his church.
 
     

Dennis Blaine attended Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, Calif. where he graduated with a Master of Sciences degree in physician assistant studies in 2002. Upon graduation and passing the national board exam he worked in Southern Calif. in both family practice and urgent care settings before returning to Northern Calif. to be closer to his family. Becoming a physician assistant was a career change for Dennis, who originally attended Chico State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in telecommunications. After working for 10 years as a television news photographer, reporter, and sports anchorman at a Chico television station he decided to pursue his lifelong love of science and medicine. With two small children of his own, Dennis enjoys doing pediatric medicine and caring for acute injuries as well as hands-on surgical procedures such as laceration repair and biopsies. In his spare time he enjoys spending quality time with his family and all outdoor activities, especially playing soccer and skiing.
 
     


Cindy Carson graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, followed by a Medical Technology internship at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California.  She was employed as a medical technologist for the next nine years in La Jolla and Sacramento.  

In 1994, Cindy graduated from the Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Program at the University of California Davis School of Medicine. Certified in Family Practice with a special recognition in Surgery, Cindy has extensive employment experience in Urgent Care. While away from work, Cindy is active in the Mother Lode Chapter of the Flying Samaritans, providing medical care to the indigent in Baja, Mexico.

 
     

Joe Lobaccaro graduated from the University of Delaware in 1978 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing. He worked in critical care for the next ten years initially in Delaware, but mostly in California. Soon after arriving in Sacramento, he completed a Masters Degree in Health Care Administration. Continuing his education, he graduated from U.C. San Francisco in 1991 with a certificate to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He also holds a Masters of Science in Health Care administration from Sac State. Joe believes in listening to the patient and tailoring treatment according to the patient's needs. When Joe is not helping patients he is working as our computer administrator. He has lived in California for the past 20 years. Joe and his wife have four children. They are active in their church and enjoy camping and touring.
